Sailors and 23 civilians, have been treated for minor injuries including heat exhaustion and smoke inhalation.

 

Fire Crews Battle Blaze On Navy Ship

(San Diego, CA) — Fire crews are fighting a blaze on a Navy ship docked in San Diego. Navy officials say on Twitter federal fire crews are on board the U.S.S. Bonhomme Richard working to extinguish it. There are also Navy boats fighting it from the water. Still, there are reports it could take a couple of days to put out the fire completely. Seventeen sailors and four civilians were hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
