Positive COVID Vaccine News Leads To Strong Wall Street Rally
(New York, NY) — Wall Street investors are in a buying mood after promising news on a possible COVID-19 vaccine. The major indexes were trading higher for most of today’s session. The S&P 500 hit a milestone by making back all of its previous losses this year, but fell below that mark to end the day. At the closing bell, the Dow Jones Industrial Average added 228 points to 26-870. The S&P improved 29 points to 32-27. And the Nasdaq gained 62 points to 10-550.
