About 130 billion dollars is still available via the PPP, created to help businesses struggling because of Coronavirus to pay their workers. Treasury secretary Steven Mnuchin told a House panel the administration has no problem if some businesses submit a second application for money: Mnuchin: “The administration supports using the existing money and topping it up with some additional money, and that will be discussed, and allowing for a second payment to the businesses that are especially hard-hit. Mnuchin said there should be a revenue test to make sure company seeking additional funds have experienced significant declines in revenue.
