Trump Notes Lower Fatality Rate From Coronavirus
(Washington, DC) — President Trump says fewer people are dying from coronavirus. Speaking at the White House, Trump noted the death rate has plummeted 75 percent since mid-April. He explained the case-fatality rate is also lower than in the European Union and many other countries in the world. Trump argued people might think the U.S. is the only country struggling with the pandemic if they’re watching American television. But, the President says much of the world is suffering and others are calling him to ask for help with the virus.
