$20 Gift Cards Offered To Talk To Contact Tracers
(Los Angeles, CA) — Los Angeles County is offering people 20-dollar gift cards to talk to coronavirus contact tracers. Officials say a third of the infected people interviewed for contact tracing so far haven’t answered all the questions. On Monday public health director Barbara Ferrer, who is not a medical doctor, said many of these people are afraid of “losing their jobs, housing or relationships” if they answer questions honestly, adding that not everyone trusts who they’re talking to.
