3.3 Aftershock Moments After Cali Earthquake
(Pacoima, CA) — The Los Angeles-area felt a magnitude 3.3 aftershock moments after getting rattled by a moderate earthquake overnight. The USGS reports the aftershock hit around 4:30 am, Pacific Time, just minutes after the region was hit by a magnitude 4.2, initially reported as a magnitude 4.5. The first earthquake was centered in Pacoima, in the eastern San Fernando Valley. There are no reports of damage or injuries from either quake.
