U.S. Appeals Court Overturns Death Sentence For Boston Marathon Bomber

(Boston, MA) — A federal appeals court is overturning the death penalty sentence for Boston Marathon bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev  Three people died and hundreds more were wounded in the 2013 attack. The First U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Boston upheld the conviction, but directed a lower court to hold a new trial to determine sentence.
