(Hancock Park, CA) — The street outside Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti’s mansion was the site of three arrests over the weekend. Three protesters were thrown in jail and two were cited during a demonstration asking the mayor to cancel rent costs amid the coronavirus pandemic. The LAPD says they handcuffed one person for battery on an officer, took another one in for resisting arrest, and got the third person for trying to free an arrestee. The citations were handed out to a pair accused of blocking the roadway.
