(San Francisco, CA) — Chadwick Boseman set a new Twitter record. The final tweet posted to the late actor’s account sharing news of his death is now the most-liked tweet of all-time. The social media giant announced Saturday that fans are working to organize “Black Panther” Twitter watch parties. Twitter also said the original #BlackPanther [[ hash-tag “Black Panther” ]] emoji was turned back on “so fans can watch and talk about his legacy together.” Boseman passed away Friday after battling colon cancer the last four years. He was 43-years-old.
The most-liked tweet before Boseman set the new record was by former President Barack Obama. The former Commander-in-Chief wrote in 2017, “No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin or his background or his religion.”
