A fundraiser is gaining steam that is raising money for the two Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies who were shot over the weekend. So far with the help of over five-thousand-900 people, the GoFundMe has raised over 408-thousand dollars. Their colleague detective Keegan McInnis set up the fundraiser to help cover the cost of multiple surgeries, and the “long road to recovery” both officers are facing. The two deputies were ambushed and shot at short range on Saturday night while in their patrol car. They are both expected to survive but have extensive injuries.
