(Los Angeles, CA) — Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti says this decade needs to be all about action on climate change. The mayor tells MSNBC living cheaply actually isn’t the answer. He says it turns out to be very expensive and Americans need jobs to help them recover from another crisis, the coronavirus pandemic. Garcetti’s comments come as California has been ravaged by wildfires and the resulting poor air quality.
