(Washington, DC) — President Trump is citing “historic progress” in the development of a coronavirus vaccine and says a big announcement will be coming very soon. Trump called a White House news conference and said distribution will start almost immediately after a vaccine is approved. He said the vaccine will be safe and effective. There are considerable logistical challenges involving distribution of a vaccine in a nation of more than 300-million people, but plans are underway to optimize delivery.
