(New York, NY) — Wall Street is capping a volatile week as the sell-off in technology shares continues. Apple, Amazon and Microsoft were among the session’s biggest losers. The Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 244 points to 27-657. The S&P 500 dropped 37 points to 33-19. And the Nasdaq gave up 117 points to 10-793.
The major averages fell for the third straight week with shares in Facebook and Amazon each dropping more than five percent. Apple has now fallen more than 17 percent in September. For the week, the Dow Jones is down less than a tenth of a percent. The S&P 500 and Nasdaq each gave up about a half-percent.
