(Philadelphia, PA) — Democratic Presidential nominee Joe Biden says he should be the one to pick a new Supreme Court justice if he wins in November. Biden visited Philadelphia and said if he wins, President Trump’s nominee should no longer be considered by the Senate, apparently despite what is clear in the constititution. Biden pledged to talk with both Republicans and Democrats about his pick for the nation’s highest court. Senators are gearing up for a fight over filling the seat of the late Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. The long-time justice died Friday at the age of 87 from pancreatic cancer.
Even if Trump nominates a Justice, Biden says ignore it if he wins in November. Of course, that’s not what the constitutions says.
