(Anaheim, CA) — A chairman at the Walt Disney Company is asking the state of California for “fair and equitable” guidelines to allow Disney’s theme parks to reopen. During a virtual press conference Tuesday, Josh D’Amaro stressed the important roles Disneyland and California Adventure play at both the local and state level. He says more than 80-thousand-people’s jobs rely on the company. The company closed its California parks in March amid growing concerns over the coronavirus pandemic, and have remained closed since.
