(New York, NY) — Wall Street took investors on a wild roller coast ride today. It opened by plunging nearly 180 points, then rose nearly 380 points, a swing of more than 500 points. Then it lost all that gain to move back into the red. It did rise into positive territory in the final 30 minutes of trading. The key reason for the big jump in mid-day trading is word Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi are talking about a new stimulus package. Those two worked out the agreement on the last major stimulus package. Talks between Pelosi and White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows had stalled. At the closing bell, the Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 52 points to 26-815. The S&P 500 added ten points to 32-46. And the Nasdaq improved 39 points to 10-672.
