Florida Prosecutors Drop Charges Against NFL Owner

(Jupiter, FL) — Florida prosecutors are dropping charges against New England Patriots owner Robert Kraft. The 79-year-old was accused of soliciting prostitution at a day spa in January of 2019. Kraft apologized for his actions, but pled not guilty. A court tossed out a request by Palm Beach County prosecutors to allow video and audio surveillance of Kraft allegedly paying for sex acts at the Orchids of Asia spa. He was one of 25 people arrested in the months-long investigation of human trafficking. Courts ruled police violated the rights of the clients when they secretly installed video cameras inside massage rooms and barred the use of those videos.
