(New York, NY) — Wall Street is starting the week in the green as investors cheered a pair of developments. Optimism over fiscal stimulus talks and President Trump’s expected return to the White House calmed markets and sent stocks sharply higher. The Dow Jones Industrial Average gained 465 points to 28-148. The S&P 500 rose 60 points to 34-08 while the Nasdaq jumped 257 points to 11-332. Stocks rallied after President Trump said he planned to leave Walter Reed Medical Center following coronavirus treatments. Along with easing concerns about political uncertainty, hopes that lawmakers would reach a compromise on a new stimulus deal also helped fuel Monday’s rally.
