Nearly Seven-Thousand Voters Receive Wrong Mail-In Ballot In Teaneck
(Teaneck, NJ) — Officials are scrambling after nearly seven-thousand voters in Teaneck received the wrong mail-in ballot. Bergen County Clerk John Hogan says corrected ballots should be received within the next few days, blaming the problem on a private mailing company. He’s asking anyone who received the wrong ballot to shred the first ones they received. Teaneck, which has a population of around 40-thousand people, has 28-thousand registered voters.

House Dems Probe What They Call ‘Misinformation’ Ahead Of Election
(Washington, DC) — House Democrats are looking into the spread of misinformation ahead of next month’s national elections. Republicans chose not to take part in a virtual hearing in the House. Ohio Democrat Marcia Fudge accused President Trump and Republicans of taking part in an insidious campaign to sow mistrust about massive mail-in voting. (See story above) . She insisted that there is nothing nefarious about voting by mail. Many states are encouraging voters to vote by mail because of health concerns about in-person voting during the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.
Congresswoman Fudge also cited ongoing Russian efforts to meddle in the presidential election, continuing a theme popular among Democrats. Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold urged voters to “ignore the noise” and seek accurate information ahead of election day.
