(Los Angeles, CA) — A new UCLA study says big-budget movie studios will lose millions of dollars by not including racial and cultural diversity in their films. A study released this week says films with a budget of more than 159-million-dollars will lose at least 32-million on opening weekend alone because of a lack of diversity among the cast and crew. The researchers go on to claim those movies could lose 130-million overall. The findings come from a break-down of the financial success of more than 100 movies released between 2016 and 2019.
