(San Diego, CA) — Jack in the Box is serving up its first unchicken sandwich. They’re made from pea protein and the same crispy breading used on regular chicken patties. The fast food chain partnered with ‘Raised and Rooted’ to make the plant-based meat alternative. Thing is, they’re only available at select restaurants in California and Nevada through December 12th. But to celebrate, customers can get a free chicken-scented face mask next Friday.
