Republicans Follow Law, Barrett SCOTUS Vote Monday, Democrats Unhappy

(Washington, DC) — The final Senate vote to confirm Supreme Court nominee Amy Coney Barrett will happen Monday, eight days before the election. And Democrats aren’t happy. Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer says a more conservative high court threatens the healthcare of millions, along with voting rights, women’s reproductive rights and LGBTQ rights. Illinois Democrat Richard Durbin says Republicans should be focused on the coronavirus outbreak.
