Dems Cancel Themselves: Dems Boycott Senate Committee Vote On Barrett

By

(Washington, DC) — Senate Democrats are defending their decision to boycott a key committee meeting on the nomination of federal Judge Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court. The Judiciary Committee approved her nomination and sent it to the full Senate for a confirmation vote on Monday. Senate Democratic leader Chuck Schumer called Barrett’s confirmation process illegitimate. Democratic seats in the Judiciary Committee were filled with posters of people Democrats claim would lose healthcare coverage if the high court repeals the Affordable Care Act, or Obamacare. Justices will consider a challenge to Obamacare shortly after the election.
