(Washington, DC) — The Washington Football Team is unlikely to drop its temporary name until after next season. Club President Jason Wright told WJLA there’s a good chance they will still with that name for the 2021 season. He argued “everybody needs to take a deep breath” and there’s a lot of steps that have to be taken. Owner Daniel Snyder also told the Wall Street Journal recently the name could become permanent if it catches on.
