Dow Leads The Way To Start November

(New York, NY) — The Dow Jones Industrial Average is the winner to begin the month. The index jumped over one-percent as most components finished in the green. It came as investors look forward to the election  and see what the future may look like under a re-elected President Trump or a new administration with Joe Biden in charge. The Dow finished up 423 points to 26-925. The S&P 500 rose 40 points to 33-10. The Nasdaq rose 46 points to 10-958.

Honeywell and Walgreens were among the leaders on the Dow. Energy also had a good day with Chevron and Diamondback Energy helping to lead the way. Strong quarterly sales growth also led to a jump for Clorox. Apple fell slightly despite announcing an event for November 10th. That’s when we’re expected to learn more about the company’s new Macs. Other tech companies also didn’t have a great start to November. Facebook fell, Twitter did as well, and so did Amazon.
