(Columbia, SC) — NBC News is projecting Lindsey Graham as the winner of the Senate race in South Carolina. The Republican incumbent defeated Democratic challenger Jaime Harrison. This was one of the seats Democrats had targeted to regain majority of the Senate. Harrison raised a ton of money but also got help from the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee and Senate Majority PAC. Graham is the Senate Judiciary Chairman and has been serving since 2003.
