Two New Studies Find Fish Oil May Not Protect The Heart

(Los Angeles, CA) — A new study suggests fish oil really doesn’t protect against heart problems. Researchers at Cedars Sinai in Los Angeles say that’s the bottom line after tracking over 25-thousand adults who took Omega-3 fish oil or a placebo over a five-year period. A second study from the Cleveland Clinic found similar results. Scientists concluded fish oil supplements failed to lower the risk of heart attack or stroke.
