Happy Thanksgiving in the Michael Flynn household

(Washington, DC) — Top Republicans in the House are cheering the pardon for President Trump’s first national security adviser Michael Flynn. On Twitter, Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy argued Trump was “right to pardon the respected three-star general.” Minority Whip Steve Scalise said what happened to Flynn should never be allowed to happen in America, adding “justice has been served.” Flynn pleaded guilty in 2017 to lying to the FBI but then tried to have the case thrown out.
