(Los Angeles, CA) — More than 73-thousand Southern California Edison customers could be in the dark on Thanksgiving. The utility company is considering power shutoffs ahead of dangerous Santa Ana winds in tomorrow’s forecast. More than 25-thousand SCE customers are in Los Angeles and Ventura Counties. The shut-off would start at noon tomorrow and last until 3:00 p.m. Friday, spanning communities as far north as Oxnard. A National Weather Service Fire Weather Watch is now in effect. Gusts are expected to top out at around 45-miles-per-hour across Southern California tomorrow.
