(San Francisco, CA) — San Francisco could be joining the other California counties in the purple tier. State Health and Human Services Secretary Dr. Mark Ghaly says he expects numbers to increase across the board.
Health officials said yesterday the daily new coronavirus case numbers remain below the state and national levels, but the surge is still concerning. The director of the Department of Public Health, Dr. Grant Colfax, said yesterday they are expecting San Francisco to be placed in the purple tier “later this week.”
