(New York, NY) — Former presidential candidate Andrew Yang is filing paperwork that could indicate he’s running for mayor of New York City. The 45-year-old businessman has not officially declared his candidacy, but he did register with the city’s campaign finance board. Yang would join a crowded field of Democratic candidates vying for the office of mayor, as Mayor Bill de Blasio will be term-limited. The Democratic primary will be held in June.
