(Washington, DC) — President Joe Biden is seeking to follow California by removing the word \”alien\” from U.S. immigration laws. If Biden\’s proposed bill is passed, it would remove the word \”alien\” and replace it with the term \”noncitizen.\” California nixed \”alien\” from the state\’s labor code back in 2015.
