(Washington, DC) — Doctor Anthony Fauci [[ FOW-chee ]] is asking the Washington Nationals for another chance. Speaking with the medical journal JAMA, the nation’s top infectious disease expert says he hopes he gets to throw out another one of the team’s ceremonial first pitches. Footage of Fauci’s first attempt last year when he completely missed the home plate went viral on social media. He called the attempt “quite embarrassing.”
