Business Owners Push For Indoor Dining To Resume

(Sacramento, CA) — As most of the state is moving back outdoors for dining options, some California restaurant owners are now putting pressure on lawmakers to allow indoor dining as well. John Kabateck with the National Federation of Independent Business says the “mom and pops” need to get customers back inside their establishments to survive.

Kabateck explains outdoor dining may help them stay afloat a little bit longer, but it’s not going to be enough to sustain over the long haul. He credits factors like P-P-P dollars, the vaccine and of course the pure grit of owners, for helping keep businesses afloat during the pandemic. Kabateck says he is optimistic about the improving numbers.
