Report: L.A. County Lost 437K Jobs In 2020

(Los Angeles, CA) — A new report says L.A. County lost 437-thousand jobs last year. The data found by Los Angeles County Economic Development Corp. suggests there will be 354-thousand fewer living-wage jobs this year compared to before the pandemic. That means there need to be 738-thousand living-wage jobs created so the entire workforce in the county can have a decent standard of living.
