(New York, NY) — Stocks are reeling after a nosedive Thursday because of increasing ten-year treasury yields. The yields rapidly spiked to its highest point in a year today, unnerving investors into the selloff. All that comes in spite of promising job numbers released Thursday. Initial unemployment claims dropped to about 730-thousand for the week ending February 20th, down over 110-thousand from the week prior. To close Thursday, the Dow Jones Industrial Average sank 560 to 31-402 points. The S&P 500 dipped 96 to 38-29, and the Nasdaq fell 479 to finish the day at 13-119.
