Biden’s Economy Not Sunny: Private Payroll Growth Slows Considerably In February

(Washington, DC) — It looks like more people are staying on unemployment as they wait to get hired. A new report shows private companies only added 117-thousand jobs last month, far short of the 225-thousand Dow Jones estimate. Most jobs were service related, followed by trade, transportation and utilities. Education and health services added 35-thousand positions while the hospital industry increased its payroll by 26-thousand.
