(Washington, DC) — White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki  says President Biden will probably hold his first formal news conference by the end of the month. A reporter asked Psaki why Biden has not held a formal briefing after more than 40 days in office-longer than most any other President. She noted the President has been plenty busy with the coronavirus pandemic and restoring the economy. Psaki called it a historic crisis. She was also pressed about when the new President will address a joint session of Congress. Psaki said it will likely happen, but offered no guidance about a date.
