(San Diego, CA) — Some parents are upset after learning migrant children will be getting in person teaching before their own kids. The San Diego Unified School District confirmed to Fox News their teachers will instruct migrant children staying at the San Diego Convention Center in person. The district said the teachers were approached to be volunteers, but they may be getting paid. San Diego County Supervisor Jim Desmond told Fox News he wishes the 130-thousand kids in San Diego County had same opportunity for in-person teaching.
