(El Paso, TX) — Customs and Border Protection officials say the immigrant surge numbers this year so far are record breaking. CBP says in March over 170-thousand illegal immigrants were stopped by immigration agents at the southern border. Of that number, 18-thousand are unaccompanied children which is a new monthly record.
