(Los Angeles, CA) — George Floyd’s family lawyer says actor George Clooney has been giving him advice on what to say at the Derek Chauvin trial. Chauvin is the former Minneapolis police officer facing murder charges for Floyd’s death. Floyd family lawyer Benjamin Crump appeared on “The View” Thursday, and said Clooney has been sending him emails about the trial. Crump said Clooney suggested, among other things, that if Chauvin feels confident that George Floyd died of a drug overdose, he should lie down in the courtroom and let someone kneel on his neck for nine minutes and 29 seconds.
