(New York, NY) — Stocks are mixed Wednesday as tech slides are holding back the market despite better than expected earnings among big banks. Goldman Sachs, JPMorgan Chase, and Wells Fargo all beat market expectations on their bottoms lines for the first quarter. However, large tech stocks like Tesla, Amazon, Facebook, and Netflix were all lower on the day and weighed the market down. To close, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was up 53 points to 33-730. The S&P 500 fell 16 points to 41-24 and the Nasdaq closed down 138 points to 13-857.
