U.S. Capitol Officer Suffered Two Strokes

(Washington, DC) — The officer who died a day after the riot on the U.S. Capitol did so after suffering two strokes. The Medical Examiner says officer Brian Sicknick, a native of New Jersey, ended up drying of natural causes after suffering the strokes. Sicknick was attacked with bear spray by demonstrators, collapsed after he went back to his office and died about eight hours later. Two men have been charged with assaulting Sicknick.
