(Washington, DC) — The President and First Lady Jill Biden will travel to Atlanta on Thursday, the day after the President’s big speech to a joint session of Congress. Press Secretary Jen Psaki said the President will be promoting what used to be known as his sweeping “infrastructure plan”, now known as the American Jobs Plan. She said he’ll also tout a follow-up proposal, which the White House is calling the American Families Plan. That is something he will detail in the congressional speech. Psaki said other top administration officials will also be on the road after the address to lawmakers, touting the President’s plans. So many plans.

Not everyone is cheering the Bidne trip. This is a press release from Citizens for the Republic, and PAC founded by Ronald Reagan:

Washington, D.C. – Citizens for the Republic, founded by Ronald Reagan in 1977, demanded President Biden apologize to Atlanta business owners when he travels there next week. Biden, who is visiting next Thursday to mark 100 days in office, said he supported Major League Baseball moving its All-Star Game out of Atlanta in the aftermath of Georgia’s new voting law. Ultimately the game was moved to Denver, which will cost Atlanta and the state economy more than $100 million according to reports.

“The second Joe Biden lands in Atlanta, he needs to get down on his knees and beg forgiveness from the citizens and business owners he stabbed in the back with his encouragement of MLB’s decision,” CFTR Chairman Craig Shirley said Friday. “Let’s not forget that the people most affected by this decision probably voted for Biden. Biden easily won the Atlanta area. Its people helped put him in office, and he’s shown gratitude by spitting in their faces.”

“Big cities like Atlanta have already been hit hard by the pandemic, but apparently Biden thinks it’s fine if a major source of tourism changes venues because of woke outrage over a voting law that isn’t even that restrictive. Biden doesn’t want Atlanta to get hundreds of millions in income, but still he wants to raise the taxes for these poor people. It’s unbelievable. Biden is a walking disaster wherever he goes, corrupting whatever he touches with his puttering submission to the progressive base.”
