Major Pharmacies Offer Same-Day COVID Vaccines. Why Have Vaccinations Dropped SO MUCH?

(Undated) — Walgreens, CVS and Rite Aid are offering same-day COVID-19 vaccines as the pace of vaccinations per day slows. Walgreens will be offering appointments starting Wednesday, while CVS began same-day appointments on April 23rd. Rite Aid said it’s allowing walk-in vaccines on a limited basis. The U.S. is averaging two-point-four million shots per day, down from the peak of three-point-four million a day reported in mid-April.  Reason Magazine makes a good case that –despite what government officials tell us– the fall off in vaccinations times out right as the quations about the Johnson and Johnson vaccine became public.
