(Old Bridge, NJ) — The football that Tom Brady threw to complete his first touchdown pass in the NFL is going up for auction. According to Lelands Auctions, the piece of history will go up for bid on today. Brady connected with Patriots’ receiver Terry Glenn for the score on October 14th, 2001 against the Chargers. Glenn threw the ball into the stands and it was caught by a season ticket holder, who has kept the ball ever since. Brady, a seven-time Super Bowl champion who’s now with the Buccaneers, is the NFL’s all-time passing touchdowns leader with 581.
