CDC, Biden agree: Vaxed, no mask. LA abandons science and CDC and says not so fast.

While federal officials have announced new guidelines saying fully vaccinated people can ditch the mask, local health officials in Los Angeles say not so fast. Public Health Director Barbara Ferrer, who is not a medical doctor, epidemiologist or a virologist says not until the county and state have had a chance to to review the recommendations. Interestingly enough, Ferrer claims that the CDC’s announcement stating that ANYONE who is fully vaccinated can participate in indoor and outdoor activities, large or small, without wearing masks or physical distancing, does not imply that local regulations be disregarded.  L.A. County is asking that all residents, including fully vaccinated individuals,  continue to mask up until the California Division of Occupational Safety and Health can weigh in, which will not happen until at least next week.
