Trial For Cops Accused In Floyd’s Death Delayed To March 2022

(Minneapolis, MN) — Three former Minneapolis police officers will go on trial next year for their involvement in George Floyd’s death. A Minnesota judge delayed the trial to March 2022. Judge Peter Cahill cited the need for “space” between their trial and the sentencing of former cop Derek Chauvin  He’s going to learn next month how much time he’ll spend in prison after he was found guilty of killing Floyd. Tou Thao, J Alexander Kueng and Thomas Lane were scheduled to go on trial in late August.
