(Wilton, CT) — Long-time Hollywood comedic actor Charles Grodin is dead at the age of 86. His son confirmed his passing from bone marrow cancer at his home in Connecticut. Grodin was a popular guest on “The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson” and “Late Night with David Letterman” for his deadpan appearances. He was an accomplished actor and became popular for his movie roles in “Catch-22” in 1970, “The Heartbreak Kid” with Cybill Shepherd in 1972, and “Heaven Can Wait” with Warren Beatty in 1978.
