(Washington, DC) — A Missouri senator says it’s too early to be creating a commission to probe the attack on the Capitol on January 6th. Speaking on Fox News Sunday, Republican Roy Blunt talked about the 9-11 commission, which was approved and formed 14 months after the initial attacks. He says a lot more information will come out about the Capitol riots, and the commission should have all of it available to them when they start any probe. Blunt also mentioned progress in Senate committees to find more information about the attack, and said details could be released in the coming weeks. He noted those reports would also come with recommendations for how Congress should act to prevent future incidents.
